My plant is covered in all these black spots, on almost all its leaves. I don’t think it’s overwatered and it is getting adequate light. What could be wrong with it?

the only thing that would make sense is overwatering. since the lower leaves are black and there are only a few, i would assume it is because of that. i would get rid of the affected leaves, make sure your soil have enough drainage, and go from there. hope they get better ❤️❤️

That being said, if the soil isn’t drying out 50% in between waterings or if the soil is consistently moist, I’d bet money on there being an issue with overwatering- nothing to feel bad about though because it happens to everyone. If most of the leaves are affected, I think I’d take it out of the pot to check on the roots because you either have root issues or a fungal infection. When you check on the roots, prune away any dead or mushy roots with clean scissors. You can then spray the roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide and repot back into an appropriately sized planter based on what size root ball you have left after pruning.
