Hey everyone! I am having some issues with my Money Tree. Two of the stems were growing white fuzzy mold on them and were squishy. I didn’t get a picture before I removed them. I cut the stems out and repotted the plant in new soil. I have two stems left so I’m hoping the mold does not spread to them. Any advice for overwatering or overall care?

Get you a soil meter which will help with the overwatering. You can get rid of white powdery mildew with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water in a spray bottle if it returns. Hope this helps good luck

Looks like it might be in too big of a pot for the root size. Money trees don’t have that big of root systems and too much soil can hold on to excess water. I’d downside it to a diameter of 1-2 inches wider than the root ball to prevent overwatering. As for how often I water my money tree, I wait until the soil is completely dry and then wait even a couple days more. The thick stems hold water in them so they can tolerate drying out a little

Also make sure it has a drainage hole! I had one a while ago and it didn't have a drainage hole, but moss helped obsorb it. Even rocks would work if it has to stay in a specific pot!
