Does anyone know why my spider plant might be struggling to produce babies? It has had this offshoot for about 6-8 weeks but has yet to produce anything appreciable. Thank you in advance!

Maybe it wants to live that DINK lifestyle 🤑
0 LikesIn all seriousness though your spider plant could either be too young, or not living in an environment that suits its needs (I would first assess light conditions, then humidity, then maybe debate adding more nutrients by fertilizing)
0 LikesI wouldn’t be super worried about it. My spider plant babies grow very very slowly, even though it has pretty much the perfect conditions for a spider plant. The one thing I could think of is that it may need more light. How much light is it getting?
1 LikeThank you! Right now I believe it is getting around 600-650 lux. I had a small scale issue about a week ago with it that seems to but outside of that it has not any major pest issues
0 LikesThat sounds like a good amount of light, so it’s probably just a slow grower like mine
0 LikesI noticed the leaf tips are a bit brown. Are they dry and crunchy? If so, it may be under-watering. Another thing I would consider is if you have fertilized it. It may need more nutrients to put out a pup.
