Okay so I have a Swiss Cheese monstera, she’s growing INCREDIBLY leggy, with a solid almost foot between growths. A couple of the tips of the leaves are starting to get brown and crispy. It looks like something ate one of her leaves. Should I repot her? What else could I do to help her??

i think she needs more light and potentially less water before you consider repotting, unless the soil is old and compacted or otherwise subpar like if it’s holding onto too much moisture. gradually introduce the plant to brighter light; plants that have been in shade for a while are prone to sunburn.

I don’t think she’s ever been repotted, and soil has been clinging to moisture. I literally haven’t watered her in like a week and a half, and her soil is soaked all the way through still. And okay I’ll definitely introduce her slowly!!

She’s technically my mom’s so I’m not fully sure of the love she’s gotten.

i would definitely recommend start by introducing the plant to more light, the soil will stay wet longer in shadier conditions since the plant grows slower and uses less water. the sun also warms up the pot and encourages more water to evaporate from the soil
