scale or scars? I’ve never had scale before so I’m not sure. This is my raven ZZ that is still in quarantine.

    They look sorta bumpy to me so I’m leaning more towards bugs. Scars are usually indented, not sticking out like that I think

    I don’t believe it is scale. This is what scale looked like on my curly Sue cactus. See the legs. 🤢 I’ll post a pic of a live one also. I truly think it’s scarring on ur baby.

      Yeah I definitely couldn’t find any legs even when holding a flashlight and zooming in on a camera. They came off super easy when I scraped with my finger nail so I got rid of them just in case. Couldn’t find any live bugs either

      Sorry, the are both live bugs. The bottom pic is one that wasn’t waxed over yet.

      How did you get such a close detailed pic? Did you use a handheld camera?

      Good question - I bought a handheld microscope. It attaches to my phone thru Bluetooth. I downloaded their app and it works great!!
