Do you know what happened to my Monstera and how to cure this? This is how most of the leaves look like when I got them from the farm. The new leaves don’t look like this (the second picture).

Those first leaves look dusty and have some water stains. You should clean the old (and new ones because cleaning your plants leaves is good) leaves with a paper towel/normal towel dipped in water and a very small amount of lime juice. I’m not sure why they don’t have holes but it’s probably because they weren’t taken care of well in the farm. Those brown spots with a yellow halo around them are a bacterial/fungal infection thing which I think is caused because water droplets got on the leaf, weren’t wiped off and didn’t evaporate quick enough.

Lack of fenestration can mean many things: immature leaf/plant, not enough light, needs more fertilizer. Also yes to cleaning the leaves :) that will help with photosynthesis. But the plant looks young so that’s probably why! Just keep taking care of it ☺️

I agree with you. I feel like it is most definitely rusts. Really annoying but it’s treatable. I’d quarantine it.

This is the underneath part of the leaf. Are they fungal rusts?

that’s definitely fungal rust unfortunately, the only effective way i’ve found to treat it is to remove affected foliage. if this means chopping off all your leaves and discarding them, it may be necessary to get your plant back to health. if any leaves have one or two spots feel free to cut around the spot and leave healthy tissue. be sure to use sterile shears or scissors for this though, and keep a dish of soapy water or diluted isopropyl alcohol to wash your tool between cuts.
