How do I revive my Aloe plant? Am I overwatering it?

    If she's soggy or droopy it's most likely over-watering they also love full sun and need good drainage, I give my succulents deluded Epsom salt during the growing season but I would wait on all that until she dries out some if she's droopy and soggy from overwatering

      Can you say more on the epsom salt? How do you know how much salty they need?

      Well it also depends on the soil condition if you have good soil that doesn't have a magnesium deficiency of any kind we don't want to over fertilize your aloe , I know they're not heavy feeders and they do ok in poor soil conditions I would super dilute it like maybe a teaspoon of Epsom salt to a gallon of water once a month during the growing season

    You might want to check the roots for any signs of distress or rot. I would remove the dry leaves or cut them down a bit after checking the roots. If you can give a little info about how you care for this plant, that could help others narrow down what could be causing problems for your aloe. Here’s some things that could help knowing: - how long do you wait before you water it, and do you let it completely dry out between waterings? - what kind of soil is it in? Do you remember the brand, or if it was cactus/succulent mix or not? - when was the last time it was repotted? Does the pot have drainage holes at the bottom? Hope this helps

    Thanks for the suggestions! Recently we bought a plant mister and we got carried away with it. It’s worked well for some of the other plants but not the aloe. So like once or twice a week. There is root rot. Should I remove those pieces too? I’m not sure what soil was used but it hasn’t been transferred pots in a while.

    If it helps, about once a year I take it out the pot and separate the babies. I put the best or mama plant back in the original pot with some fresh soil. I either start the babies in their own pots or toss them if I have too many growing or they don’t look as healthy as I want. It looks tired to me like it needs to be separated from the suckers and given fresh soil.
