Do you let the soil completely dry before watering?
1 LikeDo you water it from the top or bottom water your haworthia? I’ve recently noticed a glitch in the app where some of my plants have the amount of days between their waterings changed for the growing period of summer, which I understand, but changed to the point that it’s dangerously too often. It was telling me to water my jade that I never water earlier than 10 days every 7, then my dormant hyacinths every 2 days when the ID search for the same plant says to only water it during serious drought during the summer because it’s dormant during the time. You might wanna check and compare what the search ID suggests for your plant versus how many days the app is suggesting for your plant specifically. I never water any of my succulents earlier than 10 days in the summer, and I water them from the bottom and let them sit in the water for 10 minutes to let it suck how much water it needs on its own to ensure I’m not giving it too much water during waterings
1 LikeIf that’s not the case, and you’re waiting for the soil to completely dry out, it could be the soil. Do you happen to know what brand the soil is (if you’ve repotted it)? Some brands like miracle grow (even their cactus mix) take way too long to dry and can quickly lead to root rot. Hope this helps! (Also Buttercup is an absolutely adorable name. Kudos to you for your name choice.)
