This meyer lemon tree has been in our garage during the harsh winter. We brought it out when the temps came back up. It went in with a few blooms and came out of the garage with a ton of flowers and the bees were SWARMING it! Now we’ve noticed all these black spots. They appear to be bugs?? There are very few moving. Any advice?

Oh gosh, those look like aphids, use a harsh spray to get them off, then go in with a pesticide

Black aphids. They love the newest and most tender parts of the plant. Watch for aunts that farm them for the sticky “honey” they produce. The ants will move them to the best parts of the plant. Water spray will definitely knock them off. Insecticidal soap will get the ones in the creases. 🪴🍀
