Hi guys! Can someone help me out here with this monstera. The edges are becoming yellow and the leaves are much lighter green than expected. Is it a nitrogen deficiency or some type of variation? Leaves seem rather large too for an adansonii? Thanks!

My guess is a watering issue. Leaves don’t look too large for an adansonii in my opinion. I have the wide form, and some of the leaves get bigger than my hand! Even growing inside

Lack of water or too much?

I was gonna say that looks like my adansonii!

It’s hard for me to tell without knowing any of your other conditions

These like a very well draining mix, your soil looks like it probably holds on to a bit too much water, and the plastic pot facilitates water retention, too These leaves will get bigger based on adequate light and the ability to climb. I don’t want mine to climb, but it’s growing some nice big leaves in a west facing window

A always pick the plant up if it’s light it needs water depending on the plant, but in general it works and to heavy I would take it out side to get a bit of air on it & electrolytes ✌🏼

Could you say more about the electrolytes? I haven't heard this before 🤔

The out side or near the light or sunlight 👀

i would be very hesitant bringing an adansonii outside unless you’re planning to leave it there — they can be really sensitive to extreme changes in light/temp/humidity and the switch from inside to outside and back could do more harm than good, especially if you have AC indoors

It is a rather new plant. Could it be from the change of the plant store to the house?

it could be a factor but i think this yellowing is a result of too much water
