Does anyone know why my weeping fig is shedding so many leaves? I know it’s meant to “weep” but how much weeping is enough?

To me, the leaves on your entire plant look like they’re drooping. This can be caused by several factors, including being exposed to drafts/cold air too often, overwatering, underwatering, lack of drainage, or too much light. This is according to Planta.

Thank you. It’s either underwater or overwater as I’ve not changed anything else. But not sure if my flatmate has been watering too!

Ficus plants can be finicky. They drop leaves when they are unhappy. Several things can make them shed leaves: water sensitivity, being moved to a new location, too little light plus the other conditions mentioned above.
