Borg Family Plants

I just received this Variegated Hoya Compacta in the mail a few days ago. I have been searching online to identify these spots…Unfortunately I have not found much. Does anyone know what this is?

Yikes! I have no idea, but I just ordered one myself that I'm expecting on Saturday. If you find out, keep us posted. 😬

Potentially a bacterial or fungal issue. Chat GPT is good at diagnosing. Also the website Arbico organics has a lot of information

Is it possible that you were overwatering? Cause they look like that type of damage. Most fungals have a yellow halo, and these don’t.

I had just received the plant when I posted this. The soil was wet though, while the other plants were very very dry. So maybe the plant was overwatered before I received it. Thank you for mentioning this.
