Yellowing means too much water but the pot is very small as well. I would repot, toss the majority of the old soil, using good organic soil and top with peat moss to keep moister. Give minimal water after repotting and use Planti to see next time to fertilize.

I’m assuming the plant was healthy a week ago when you bought it. It’s likely too much water and/or too little sunlight causing the yellowing. I typically wouldn’t recommend repotting until the plant has adjusted to the new environment. But, the roots may be rotting, so, a repot is needed. Check for and remove any rotten roots. Disinfect the roots and tools with hydrogen peroxide to prevent the spread of bacteria/fungus. I would avoid peat moss since overwatering is a possible issue. Peat moss holds too much water for some plants leading to rot and fungus gnats. Better to use a peat moss free chunky mix. Water only when the soil is mostly dry. Don’t strictly follow a watering schedule without checking the soil actually needs water. Move the plant to a brighter location or add a grow light. 🍀🪴
