Soooo idk what’s going on here? I water her when top 1/2 is dry, fertilizer, she’s about 3ft from filtered light, her leaves are dusted often… What am I doing wrong??

    My calathea do well with filtered or distilled water. Tap water doesn’t seem to work well for them. Also you could get fish tank water conditioner and add a few drops to the water.

    Also Amazon has water meters for less than $10. It has helped so much! I water my calathea when they are almost dry.

    Depending on how much fertilizer you give, it looks like possible nute burn. These girlies are SENSITIVE to heavy ferts. Check the numbers on your fertilizer and if it’s super super high then I’d cut it down severely.

      I’m considering a natural fertilizer so it’s friendlier but not sure what brand

    Following… mine is struggling too. I did read they need humidity so I’m getting a moss mister…. I have a question for you. What’s considered filtered light? Would that be a grow light? (I’m a new plant mom and learning)
