M. deliciosa 3 days status post pruning and repotting presenting with discreet patches of flat white spots isolated to all stems and without involvement of leaves. During repotting, extensive L. birnbaumii spores were removed from soil and roots. No root rot was appreciated and the roots appeared firm and white; healthy growth throughout. Stems had no evidence of patches at that time. A mixture of 1 tbsp sodium bicarbonate was generously sprayed over the root system, top of the soil, stems, and leaves of the plant before repotting into a mixture of MiracleGro Indoor and MiracleGro Tropical soil. Several ounces of a diluted solution of Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed (1 capful of stock mixed 1 gallon of H2O) fertilized the soil after repotting into its new 16-inch diameter terra cotta planter. It was placed near the window to increase light exposure, promote water uptake, and transpiration and discourage fungal growth. Given this history, I am curious to know precisely what these patches are? Thanks in advance for your read and any thoughts offered!

Could it be sediment from the spray? At least hoping for best case scenario

It’s mineral build up from spray it with tap water. Just wipe it off with filter water and don’t spray it.

Thank you both, I appreciate it! You were spot on, that’s exactly what it was. Update: the monstera is alive and thriving well. Cheers!
