Okay I’ve gotten a Candidum twice now and this has happened both times. What’s going on?! Can anyone help me?

They are notoriously sensitive… they need bright light, high (and I mean HIGH!) humidity, and any amount of cold air or uneven watering habits (water when the top 2 inches is dry) will successfully kill off a leaf! I doubt this is a possibility but they do also go dormant in a 6 month cycle. There could be viable roots/tubers alive in the soil. If so, leave it and see if you get any new leaves

By the length of the leaf stem I can tell it’s not gotten enough light
