Hello guys. I have this Christmas cactus that I rescued, it was so dry the dirt couldn’t get a knife through it. I soaked it, saved it, and it’s perked up, grown some babies and got back lots of green. However, when I found it the drought had left its leaves almost completely purple. They are much better now, but it’s been six months and the purple is still there. What’s up? Here’s it now btw

I think the purple is from sunstress. Totally normal!

Okay. Do you know any way to get rid of it?

Once leaves turn a different color they won’t ever return to the first color. HOWEVER, because you are a caring human and take such good care of this zygocactus the new growth will be the original colors.

Move your plant out of direct light?
