I just got this monstera about 2 months ago and it’s been putting out this brown, crispy new growth. The first picture is a fresh leaf and the other two are just two different stems that I’m noticing. Any ideas with what’s happening?

Could be humidity or lack of watering

Sooo this happens to my adasonii often & it’s due to the soil being too moist.. it essentially rots the new growth before it develops. If you let the soil dry out and stick to misting or a humidifier it’ll help instead of finding out just the right amount to water it (Do not listen to the app)

The soil dries out pretty well in between waterings. Should it be repotted?

Oh yesss! Those roots need some space, maybe incorporate a big moss pole!
