Could this be signs of spider mites? iā€™m seeing some white ā€œdustā€ in my prayer plant, donā€™t know if it could be spider mites or just actual dust

    From the pictures Iā€™m not sure try taking a damp tissue and gently wash off the white dust or spider mites then you can take a better look at it.

    I canā€™t really see from the photo. But it could also be minerals secreted by the plant. Some of my calatheas do this and it looks like white dust and I assume it could be the same with ctenanthes, but Iā€™m not an expert

      I would agree. Usually spider mite damage is seen on the leaves since thatā€™s where they lay there eggs
