Does anyone have any good thrips treatment? I’ve used bug sprays but none of them actually list thrips on the bottle. Please leave suggestions :)

Captain Jack’s Deadbug Brew works great for thrips! Worth a try if u haven’t all ready. U have treat each week for a month to, at least, make sure you got rid of all the larvae. I’m in the middle of the process right now with my Emerald Gem. Good luck!! šŸƒ

Bonide all seasons horticultural oil lists thrips on the bottle. I have used it for spider mites, scale, aphids, and mealybugs at this point haha. It has worked for me.

If you aren’t treating the soil as well you’ll never win. Sprays work on adults, but the eggs are protected in the leaf, and then they drop down to the soil become larvae and then fly back up to the plant as adults. I use a strong pesticide spray. 1x/5-7 days for a minimum of 21 days, then usually 2 more treatments just to be safe. Make sure you buy one that specifically lists thrips. For soil treatment there are a few options, I use diatomaceous earth and make a good covering of the entire soil surface of my pot.
