The soil around my ginseng plant has turned copper/orange brown and I was wondering if this meant something was wrong with my plant and I should do something to fix it or if this was natural and I did not need to worry? The plant itself looks healthy otherwise but wanted to ask the group since I’m completely a plant novice 😅

No it’s normal it’s minimal in the soil and rocks. It’s kinda like algae if you want you can clean it up a bit take those rocks out and check for rot also while you clean.
