My orchid that I have in water is getting yellow spot on its leaves. I thought it was from too much light so I moved it but it’s getting worse. Can someone help my orchid please?

I’ve been told I’m the past that yellowing leaves is got is A sign of overwatering. I’ve always changed to dry soil, then I stood on one foot, touched my nose and prayed it didn’t die.

I would try moving it to solely orchid bark. I’ve recently learned that the roots of an orchid, like the one you have, will turn silver/white when they are ready to be watered and are vibrant green when they are happy and have had plenty to drink. This might be a helpful indicator for when to water if you’re worried about it drying out 😁

Please I have the same problem. I don’t think it’s any disease or a sign of overwatering. Mine is in pure orchid bark and, if anything, I am almost underwatering it. Chances that it might just be shock from some environmental changes etc… but definitely keep an eye on stem rot though. It’s pretty devastating… but we try our best…
