I’ve had this Coleus in this vase since August, and everything seemed to be going just fine up until a week ago when I had to pluck one of the bottom most leaves off because it had turned brown and dry. This week, I had to take another bottom leaf out for the same reason. I notice the same thing happening to this current leaf too, around the edges. Anyone know what could be causing this? I keep the plant in a north facing window, it does get cold at night in this area because of fall temps recently. I change the water every week.

Do you add a very diluted fert to the water? Water alone won’t sustain a plant long term, and based on its roots it’s probably ready for some added nutrients. It also could be the temps, as well as shorter days = less light.

I haven’t put diluted fert in there yet actually, I’ll try that! And yeah, less light makes sense. I’ll move it further from the window and into a east facing room
