      I have just watered it, it was fine until I started using this Planta app. I’m now going to water once a fortnight for this one unless the soil is too damp

      Yeah, could have been an overwatering situation then…hold off until the top inch or so feels pretty dry…your probably about right with the fortnight (if I remember correctly it’s 2 weeks, right? lol 😂) still check first tho. Better to be sure it’s really thirsty.

    This app tells me to water my split rocks WAY too often! They only want like 2 tablespoons like 4 times a year!

    It’s best to feel the top few inches of soil before watering most of your plants…I use a bamboo stick and leave it in the soil for like 20 minutes then check if it got wet.

      Thanks for sharing your tip, I have a few bamboo skewers that I use outdoors I didn’t even think about using them indoors

      Yes most definitely I won’t put my plants back after watering until they’ve completely drained & I only water my plants using water from the waterbutt outside as apparently tap water can cause issues

      I exclusively use reverse osmosis water…my whole plant posse seems to appreciate that!

    It looks like a peperomia rosso. It could be overwatered or under watered. I tried accessing your Planta to see your watering schedule but it’s set for “private”. It also appears to need a lot more light, if I’m correct on the id. For comparison, Planta has mine scheduled for twice a week. It’s in a terracotta planter in high grit succulent soil.

      Mine was exactly the same and flowered before I started using this xxxx app! I’ll have to check my settings are and change them

      I’ve changed my settings, take no notice of my dwarf banana plant this app has made me over water it so it’s drying out at the moment

      The plant was also a baby when I was given it by my son, it also had white poker like flower on it

      Mine is scheduled for twice a week which seems to be good. But there may have been some app adjustments made when or if I snoozed a watering.

    I find Peperomia to be a little persnickety, they do like humidity. I have two Peperomia that are doing quite well with the apps suggestions. And they are in bright light, my dining room windows face south and east and are wide open all day. Plants are not in the window but across.
