I feel I rescued this from a garden centre but it was initially strong and green. Why is this leaf now turning brown and limp? it's been watered exactly to Plantas schedule. I've noticed a second leaf also going limp and brown further down since taking photos to share on here... the leaves aren't crispy, but soft? Since looking at it's 'care schedule' on here, I'm wondering if it's not getting enough light? Would that do it? Note, I'm in the UK and it's not very bright outside here during the day now and also gets dark about 4pm. Thanks for any advice 🙌🏼🙏🏼🤩 (for now, I've moved it to the lounge patio window, assuming lighting to be it's issue until I hear replies from you guys 👍🏼💪🏼)

Oh! Should I also remove the browning stems/leaves or just leave them on? Thanks! 😊

Let the Planta schedule be a reminder to check plants but don’t follow it without checking the soil moisture first. You’re likely overwatering, gently remove from the pot and check the roots. Remove any that are brown and mushy and repot into a chunky soil mix, and only water when at least the top 2” are dry.

Thanks so much - I'll back off the water for a bit then 🙏🏼

Maybe add a grow light and moisture meter pen

I've had a couple of those for years and I don't water them till they're pretty much bone dry. And they do like their light.

I got one of these a month or so ago. I live in the UK too and currently have mine in a north facing window, 0 proper sunlight at the moment🥲. I found Planta’s schedule for watering was waaaaay too frequent, I had to wait 2-3 weeks from when it came home from the garden centre to when I first watered as the soil stayed damp for so long. So I’d second what the first person said above, check the plant before you follow the schedule and just skip on Planta until it’s almost bone dry :)

Have one of these living with a Pothos and it is THRIVING. Seconding the overwatering issue here.
