Hi! My philodendron has had this sticky residue on it for a few months now which doesn’t disappear when I wash it off, any advice? I don’t want it spreading to my other plants :))

That would be EFNs or extra floral nectaries. The plants will release a sticky almost sap like substance that’s very normal. Can cause damage to the plants but nothing serious. If you don’t like it you can try and wipe it off with a damp cloth

I'd tripple check super close with a torch scale bugs can also create sticky residue that's hard to get off
