Just installed a grow light a couple days ago. I found this weirdly textured bubble thing on my Ghost plant and was wondering what it was.

YolandaThe leaves have cells in it which that looks like an edema blister from overwatering, or a rapid change in temperature which means you may have grow light too close to it.

I doubt it’s over watering, I just got it and haven’t watered it yet (the soil was moist). I’ll move the grow light back. Thx!

PhilIt may have been overwatered by the store, not you. They often do not know how to care for succulents. If I buy a new plant with wet soil, I remove it from the pot. Remove most of the nursery soil and then repot with an appropriate succulent soil.
