My lemon lime prayer plant was beautiful. Anyone know how I can save it? It looks like maybe new growth in the middle?

I might just take those top cuttings and try to propagate them
4 LikesI had a maranta which died a long death, despite all my desperate efforts to recover it. Iāve had a new marenta for about 5 months now and itās doing well. I think my main learnings were that it doesnāt like too much sun (I notice yours is in a window, though of course I donāt know how much sun that window gets), and it really doesnāt cope well with fluctuations in its environment. So no putting it near heaters, air cons, open windows or drafty spaces to keep the humidity and temperature relatively stable. Yours is interesting because the remaining stalk looks in relatively good health. Does the soil retain enough moisture to keep it consistently moist - especially as itās in a terracotta pot? I wonder if the last stalk is getting better access to moisture now the rest of the plant has died off.

My lemon lime went through something similar. I took whatever cuttings I could salvage and propped them in some water. Itās loving the water so much more than soil as itās been putting out a lot of new growth in water.
