Noticed this, this morning. Anyone know what this might be? Fairly new to plants, all help is appreciated!

    Looks like mealy bugs to me, it’s a pest that can affect the health of your plants. I invested in some neem oil and after misting them about 4 times in two weeks they cleared up.

      Perfect thank you so much! I noticed the white dots too that I hadn’t seen before so that threw me off too.

    Are they bugs or is that sap from the broken leaf edge? It might be mechanical damage or a scratch. I can’t tell from the photo.

      I didn’t even notice the leaf was cracked you’re right. I noticed that same kind of thing on only two leaves. I guess my concern was also the white “bumps” on the leaves that have started to pop up over the last few days.

    it’s latex. it oozes from the plant when it’s mechanical damage. likely hit on something. the plant is okay and repairing itself. do not touch with your hands without washing.

      Wonderful thank you so much. I thought it might be tied to the random white dots/bumps I’ve noticed appearing over the last few days

      Those tiny white dots that are showing up are totally normal for these plants :) I also agree with the above, sap from mechanical damage. As they said, the plant is repairing itself and wash your hands if you touch the sap 👍🏻
