Iāve just inherited this raven zz plant and when I got it home I noticed that (as well as needing some serious cleaning) a couple of the top leaves have been broken off. Will this hinder any further growth? What steps might I need to take to give it the best chance of growing healthily? Thanks!
The broken off shouldn't hinder anything as long as they are clean and not showing signs of mold or fungus, which they don't from your picture. I have my black zz in a south window in chunky soil and it's been giving me new growth. I had cut it way back, because it was staying too wet in the initial pot I had it in. They are not fans
