This is called a golden pathos and I don’t know why it looks like this. The zoomed up photo is what I need an answer on.

I suppose that could be nutritional but if it is the symptoms should be on more than one or two leaves. That would leave me to think it is bacterial. I think I would cut any infected leaves and stems and treat the rest of the plant with a fungicide. Make sure you clean your pruners after you trim it up.

0 Me gustaCheck for pests. If no pests it could be a water or lighting problem. The white on the leaves looks like fungus. A commercial fungicide will kill it. Fungus grows in consistently moist organic soil. Let the soil completely dry out between watering regardless of the Planta watering notifications. Avoid misting which can promote the growth of fungus mold on plants. Use a humidifier instead. The plant needs more light based on the large gaps between leaf nodes and the smaller leaves on the newer growth. The light intensity may be too low or the bright light may not being lasting long enough each day. Add a grow light running 12-16 hours a day. 🪴🍀 Mealybugs leave white deposits. So, check for mealybugs.

1 me gustaHere’s the definition of Part Sun, Part Shade and Full Shade per Proven Winner. My potted plants get about 5 hours of direct morning light. This is considered considered full shade because they are protected from direct sunlight by a covered patio from noon onwards. Check with the light meter app throughout the day to see how much sunlight the plant actually gets verses the amount it needs to thrive.
