I’ve had this little peace lily for about a month or two now, it’s starting to get yellow leaves. I haven’t checked the root system yet, and it seems to be growing new leaves as well. Today is its watering day. Any advice on how to help its overall health? There also seems to be mold on the top of the soil too? What do you guys think?

Have you been checking the soil to make sure it's dry before watering?

Yes and I do believe I overwatered a bit. I ended up taking it out of its pot and repotting it after pruning some roots and using diluted peroxide. The soil smelled bad lol

Oh yeah. Well, these guys are very resilient, so I'm guessing if you just make sure to check the soil before watering, it'll probably jump out of it. My mom has one that survived a freeze, and it now blooms almost constantly.
