Does anyone know what these little white bugs are on my Emerald Fern? Seen a few of them which I’ve removed, they seem to like this particular spot. Any help appreciated 🪴

Those appear to be mealybugs! I use 70percent alcohol to rid them

Lack of air circulation , brought in on a new plant, overwatering

You can attack singles with an alcohol soaked Q tip or spray the entire plant

Yup mealybug. I was told kill them on sight, they’re meant to be really bad for the plant.

Squish them?? I’ve only seen one and was like hey look at this cool bug! And the guy taking care of the plants was like no, kill it. Probably wipe down the plant with soapy water to get rid of any eggs left behind you might not see.

Remove what you can with a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol. Then some sort of wash for your plant using insecticidal soap. There are a lot of great treatment suggestion on google or You Tube. Good luck!
