I have been trying to get rid of these fungus gnats for so long I put sticky traps, cinnamon in the dirt, removed the dead leaves, put colloidal silver but nothing works. What should I do?

    I recommend systemic granules and mosquito bits tea. Both have worked for me. You can also try laying the sticky trap on top of the dirt, I find it can be more effective at getting the bugs on them than it is when they fly into it

    Same issues here. I'm trying mosquito bits in the soil. I like the Zevo light traps and yellow sticky traps to get the adults. If it's really bad on a specific plant I will repot it. Can you listen to me?

    While doing all of this you should also change your watering habits. If a certain plant has a ton of gnats pause watering until absolutely necessary. Do have drainage holes?

    So I soak the mosquito bits, remove them, and use the water to water the plants. You can also use peroxide, lightly, as a way to directly treat the soil for larvae. I would also make sure the soil is completely dry before watering again.

    Mosquito bits work but I use gnat prevention concentrate (you can get it from target or off of amazon) it was the only thing that truly got rid of them that I used!

    We used a combination of sticky traps, putting a layer of stones on the top of the soil temporarily, bottom watering and repotting plants that had it bad. Only just managed to get rid of them for now!
