Someone help me.. what is this wiggly thing in my plants water? It keeps getting them between water changes (this water change was a little late - I usually change the water every 1-2 weeks, this water/photo/issue was about 3 weeks between changes). I use city water & a less than a pinch of fertilizer every other time I change the water out, which I did not do the last time I changed the water out.

I’m no expert but it looks to me like it MAY just be a little piece of root that died?

Oh no, it was wiggling around. I wish I could upload videos on here because I have a video of it just whipping itself around.

Most likely it’s just a pot worm that found its way in your propagation what or was born in it. Completely harmless and can be treated with a few water changes and a clean jar!

It does look like a leach but Idk where it would have come from.

If the head is sort of diamond shaped and has definite eyes, that could be a planaria. They're a type of worm

If it is a planarian, they don’t suck blood and they can’t hurt humans or your plant. Planarias move like a slug and just glide across a surface. If it was a freshwater leech, they move like an inch worm. Either way it won’t hurt you.
