Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me with my pothos. I just bought from somebody on market place. i think it was heavily neglected, the leaves are tiny and shriveled. i change the soil and have been regularly watering and gave it fertilizer but it looks about the exact same two weeks later. Is it past a fixing point?

Only like half and inch to an inch long, they didn’t feel rotted to me

a plant this size should have a much more established root system. looks and sounds like rot 😕

🙁 okay, is it probably too late to fix then considering i don’t have any hard established root to fall back on if i trim the rotted?

I agree with chopping and propagating to get a cutting with a healthy long root system. I recommend propagating in water a few weeks until the roots are 2 to 4 inches long. The longer the better for this plant. Fertilize with 50% diluted fertilizer when the roots appear. I add SuperThrive plant vitamins to the water. Place in bright indirect light. Use a well draining soil with lots of perlite when you are ready to plant the cuttings. Start with a 4” wide pot. Place in bright indirect sunlight for 8 hours a day or under a grow light for 12 hours a day. Fertilize every 2 weeks with 50% diluted and SuperThrive. 🍀🪴

Yes to all who have said Chop&prop! You will get great results, pothos are super easy to do this with, I’m doing this right now for a plant that looked in similarly bad shape due to rot. Many of the leaves even bounfed back for me and look much healthier and I’m sure yours will too!
