Hello! I have a follow up treatment question for my bamboo please! First picture is a few days ago - I pulled off the yellow leaves and freshened the water, but today I realized the top little part is fully yellow and shriveling… second pic is today. Can it be saved or is it too late once it starts? Do I cut it with sanitized pruners and dip it in wax? Help please Thank you 🙏 🌱

I am no bamboo expert and I have killed many of these, but I would say to look into propagating it because it’s never going to be green again. I can’t see the bottom but if it’s just the top piece that’s yellow and the rest is fine, I’d just cut it down to the healthy half.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure how far down to chop - and I wish I could figure out why some bamboo lasts forever and others go yellow seemingly fast! Appreciate the tip!

Ive killed many and saved many. Ive asked Planta's admin, watched Youtube vids for days- these plants seem to be fickle and go rogue randomly. I use cinnamon rather than wax ( just easier for me, with the same results) I also chop right after the green starts .If you cut off just yellow, it keeps spreading. Ive been growing bamboo in water for years, some of those successfully. Good luck, post updates.
