Why are all my leaves looking like this
Why are all my leaves looking like this
Still fairly new to this but could it be sun damage? Is the plant in a space where they’re getting bright sunlight right on the leaves? It might have causes some burns to form on some of the variegated parts on the leaves…
0 J'aimeIf its an alocasia I have 0 pointers those guys hate me and have been perpetually infested with spider mites. Not saying u do, but i gave up bc it was my experience.. Best I can give in my advice regarding all variegated plants is that it tends to be a bit unstable of a gene, and the white parts often turn brown. A couple fixes regarding variegated plants is silica, and/or a little extra light compared to its non variegated counterparts. The white cannot absorb light, only the green can. I have had the browning issue with my Thai constellation. Any alocasia experts here might be able to help better tho. Could also potentially be humidity.
0 J'aimeThe silica add in definitely helps with the browning. I use it along with the fertilizer. But be sure to get the right kind of silica supplement. With some you need to wait 30 minutes to use. The pic is what I use. I forget the exact difference but just do a little research first.
