Hey guys! I was wondering if you know what the problem is with my plant. Today I noticed the yellow/ brown spots on the leaves and when I was about to water it I saw this white residue on the soil. Is it mould or spiders? Any tips on what to be done in this situation would be much appreciated! 😊
Looks like mold to me, which means you’re probably overwatering. You’ll want to make sure the soil is plenty dry before you water again.
2 Me gusta When this happens to me, I’ll scrape off the top layer of moldy soil, and then spray with an essential oil blend to repel fungus.

Definitely mold. I would get it out of that plastic pot and into ceramic or terra cotta. I would do new soil or at least scrape the top like Allie suggested and sprinkle some cinnamon. It’s an antifungal you probably already have in the spice cabinet!
