Plant grow please

Will these guys propagate? Am trying to save one of my plants and you guys said try to take the good piece and bit the. In water will these work?

    Yes but I hope those white bits are perlite and not mealybug

    I have the same plant and have taken stem cuttings, laid them on the soil, lightly covered with additional soil, and they grew. First time I propagated this plant, I did it in water. Either should be good.

    Don’t know the reason for needing to propagate, but these guys tend to dry out in the middle if not watered regularly. That’s what has happened to mine. They grow like crazy and constantly need to be trimmed.

    I think soil is better than water for how small those are, but both should work just fine. These things seem to grow very fast and easily

    Where the leaf meets the stem is a point for roots to sprout from.
