I just got this Philodendron Pink Princess a week ago, I repotted in a chunky soil mix and she’s lost 3 of her little baby leaves 🤦🏻‍♀️ what am I doing wrong? I mist her every morning and she stays under a grow light for about 10 hours a day, I set her in the natural sunlight last Saturday & Sunday for about 5 hours. Yesterday she lost the 3 little leaves :(

Maybe just shock to new environment and getting transplanted too soon after bringing home.

I fear the repot was definitely too soon. I always do that 🤦🏻‍♀️ absolutely need to stop. If I lose this one, I’ll know my downfall is the repot too soon 😬

I am guilty of this, too. I sometimes am a helicopter plant mom!

wait, so it's not a good idea to repot immediately after you bring a new plant home ?! 😭😭

I read & hear so many mixed views on this. Sometimes it is & sometimes it isn’t, which doesn’t help us lol. I repot immediately because what if the soil has pests. Some people say you should let the plant get used to your home for around 2 weeks before you repot 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just repot and hope for the best lol good luck!
