PLEASE HELP ‼️‼️ One day my Peace Lily is just fine, regular watering day. The Next day I find that’s it’s dropped like a dead fly. I don’t know if it was my watering temperature, something with the soil (it hasn’t been repotted in over a year?), the roots??? Should I take it out the pot and check the roots? The yellowing is starting to form at the bottom. P.S The only time my peace lily is “dramatic” when I haven’t watered it in over a month, this looks like something different.

I have noticed this happening to my Spider Plant as well. I also bought a plant, not even a week later, and it’s dead but that could have been from the soil..

How much light does it get?

Unfortunately I have a North Facing window but I still get plenty of light!

If you haven't repot in a year, I would. Definitely check the roots, remove anything dead or mushy. If any mushy spritz with 1:3 peroxide or antifungal.

I’m not sure if this helps, but my grandma has had a peace lily for as long as I can remember and she’s had issues similar to this on and off as well. she told me that she put some coffee grounds in the soil and that it worked miracles!

Did she mix it in the soil or layered some on top of the soil?

The coffee grounds help make it more acidic, which is the lily's preference in soil. You can also buy soils that are more acidic too
