Houseplant newbie here … I recently noticed a whitish sheen and some spots on a few of the leaves of my Living Lace Davana. I used the Dr. Planta diagnose function and it said the issue was dry air. Does that seem right based on the photo? Some of my own Dr. Google research unearthed the possible diagnoses of powdery mildew or water spots/calcium deposits. Really hoping it’s not powdery mildew... I try to mist regularly and I live in zone 7a. Thank you for any ideas/advice!

Upon further research, I think the leaf texture I was worried about may be the natural patina of aging leaves! But if anyone thinks differently, I would appreciate your input.

Hi 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m really not an expert on plants - but a friend of mine gave me this one 😀 From the picture above; to me your plant looks healthy, but the instructions in the app is that the plant is not recommended for me (as I entered info when starting with the app that I was useless; now I’m actually a lot better thanks to the app, but don’t know how to change this 😅 Also the instructions claim it wants moist air, so maybe if the surrounding air would be very moist; maybe it would look even lovelier 😍 but it looks great I think 👌🏻
