Anyone know what this is? Plant has over 10 leaves and this is the only stem with it. I thought it was bugs and scraped at it, rubbed it, cleaned it.

My first thought was scales. When you scrapped it, did anything flake off?
0 Me gustaCould be Edema? If so, the plant should be fine
1 me gustaLooks like scale damage to me especially if you scraped off any bumps. A q-tip with some alcohol on it can be effective. They are persistent little buggers so you have to keep after them. I would treat what you see with the alcohol and spray the entire plant with neem. The neem will suffocate any actively moving scale. They can be tricky but keep at it and you can succeed.
0 Me gustaThey don’t scrape off. I tried to alcohol qtip it. Looks like some kind of pest damage. It’s only on this plant on this stem. The 70 other plants in there together don’t have. And I release benificial bugs every month for the last 3 years. So I don’t really have a pest problem. I thought maybe someone knew exactly what it was.
1 me gustaIt looks like fungal, rust. Id treat it with a fungicide. Every 3 days for 3x
2 Me gustaYou may want to poke around the roots too. To make sure they are firm
1 me gustaThis def need a repot. That’s prob what I should do. Thank you thank you
