Hey friends! My jade has been with me for 3 years but has started developing dried dark leaves, and I have no idea why. I water regularly, she’s getting good light, and I fertilize too (as often as Planta suggests). Anyone have any ideas on what’s happening or what I can do?

When was the last time you repotted the Jade?

2 years ago, maybe it’s due?

That's what I was thinking. Time for one size up. Do those brown spots look mushy gray/brown before they dry up? My African Mask was getting soft gray/brown spots before that part of the leaf died/turned brown. I started letting it dry out more and it hasn't happened again. I thought I was under watering, but instead I was over watering.

Yes, especially if its really root bound. It will collect water.

Oh interesting, I haven’t noticed a mushy or soft quality! But I think repotting will help.
