Got this string of pearls only a month ago. The soil is wet but the roots seem to be drying. Whole strings are starting to drop off. What am I doing wrong?

Overwatered - take it out and cut off any mushy roots and strands. When you repot be sure to use succulent soil and DON’T WATER until the pearls look a little wrinkled and are slightly squishy when you squeeze. They can handle long periods without watering as it’s stored in the pearls. Let the soil dry out completely. When they look a little wrinkled and have a slight squish then they need water. I bottom water mine more often then from the top, the root system is shallow so the bottom watering encourages them to grow strong roots
5 gillningarlook to wet, i say cut all of it off and propagate it i think those roots are goners. I also know that they like shallow pots so they can dry out between watering
1 gillaSoil may hold to much water. My guess is root rot because of the soil being moist. Good luck!
