   I have the same kind of croton! My guy really appreciates some humidity. I usually put him in the bathroom when I shower. Besides that, I have him inside on a bookshelf that gets a lot of bright indirect light. I mist him every 3ish days. The one time I noticed an issue was when he went too long without water, even though I was following the Planta watering schedule. His leaves were drooping pretty significantly but after I thoroughly watered him he perked right back up. I wouldn’t recommend letting the soil dry up too much, they seem to appreciate a good amount of moisture! This is just based on my experience tho. I really hope this helps!!! :)

     And also fertilizing regularly! I use these for all my houseplants. I prefer them to measuring out liquid fertilizer bc I’m very low effort lol

   Here's my red banana Croton I am using Jack's classic tropical plant food that I buy for my sago palm, it's considered a really excellent one the fertilizers do matter with these plants if you want to keep the vibrant colors, and high humidity is essential as well I have mine in my 75% humidity plant room under a grill light currently It do love the light 🫶
