Hey plant people, I just received this beautiful baby juniper bonsai as a gift from a very well meaning friend but upon researching found that it won’t do well indoors. I live in a college dorm and don’t have any outdoor place to put it. I’m going home in roughly a month but any advice on how to keep it alive in my dorm that long until I can rehome it would be greatly appreciated.

So looks like they like bright direct light, I’d get a grow light for your desk (you can find them on Amazon for fairly cheap) and then either get a tray with some pebbles and water for the humidity, or if you can swing it getting a little mini humidifier might help too, that way you don’t have to refill the tray or mist it everyday

In my experience these bonsais need watered every day or every other day. It seems excessive but they really do dry out that fast. I would check the soil daily and water when it’s mostly dry. Mine died from underwatering .
