Saving Arros! My office plants were exposed to extreme temperatures one weekend about two weeks ago. The arrowhead is still not recovered. Is there anything that I can do? I am posting pics from a month ago and now. 😟

I unfortunately don’t have much advice, but I would recommend trimming off any dead leaves to save the plant’s energy and possibly propagating some leaves as a backup in case it does get worse. I have an arrowhead plant and they’re pretty easy to propagate :)

Oh no, poor thing! I’m also babying some plants from cold damage. I removed the dead leaves, moved them to somewhere warmer (the lowest temps are in the high 50s, usually mid 60s), put them under grow lights, and cut back on watering. I also wrapped a scarf around the pot of the one struggling the most - not sure if that did anything but it made me feel a little bit better 😭

I understand totally! I did put him under a lamp the past two weekends along with a pothos that was also exposed and I am hoping and praying 🙏🏽.

The top picture is a month ago when the stems were long and sprawling. The current state is shown in the two lower pictures with short stems? So, two weeks ago you had to cut off most of the stems because of cold temperature exposure? I’m not sure of your expectations when you state it’s ‘still not recovered.’ It’s only been 2 weeks. It will take months to regrow all those leaves. syngoniums are not the fastest growers in the colder months. You would have to put it in a plant cabinet where you can accurately control the temperature and humidity with fertilizer to speed the growth. I’m not sure if I accurately addressed your concern.

I put the top picture to show it looked before. It is half the size now and I still need to cut more that have gone wimpy. 😢 I was hoping for tips on how to save him.
