I did post in another group but just realized this is the one I prob should have posted in. My cousin sent me a pic of her plant with light yellow spots on its leaves. I’ve told her some things to check. Curious what anyone else thinks. I don’t meant the one leaf that’s turned a little yellow (although that might be an indicator lol) but the 2 leaves in the front that have spots on them. She said the hygrometer showed about between dry and moist when she watered it a couple days ago. She’s checked the drain hole and can’t see any roots. Next she’s gonna check underside of leaves and top of soil. I’ve sent her some pics of what to look for but I’m still fairly new to plants so looking for extra help please :)

I’d keep an eye on the yellow halo looking spots. That can be a fungal issue. You may want to spray it down with neem and make sure it doesn’t touch any other plant.

How often is she watering? Pothos like to dry out between waterings and hygrometers aren’t always accurate and can lead to overwatering. I recommend using a wooden skewer to check the moisture level.

Where the meter is at in the picture is when she waters it. Should she wait till the needle is more in the red?

I think the spots are normal, but the yellow leaf might be sunburn

Im pretty sure it’s just the pattern of this species of pothos, but you could use an identifier if you really want to know

I’d check the roots. It there’s root rot and it spreads to the stems beneath the soul, the leaves turn that weird pale yellow. I had that happen to a golden pothos. It declined quickly so check the roots and if you have any mushy roots cut them off and repot in new soil if the soil is super wet. She can take some insurance cuttings and propagate them just in case.
